This Privacy Policy describes how Key Compliance Group, LLC (“Key Compliance Group,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information in connection with keycompliancegroup.com (the “Site”), our products, our email communications, and our other business activities. Please read it together with our Terms of Use.

This policy does not apply to information a client provides to us during an advisory engagement. That information is governed by the agreement for the engagement.

Information we collect

Information you provide. We collect the information you give us when you contact us, place an order, request a resource, subscribe to email, schedule a call, or ask about our services. This typically includes your name, contact details, job title, institution, and the content of your messages. Please do not send us nonpublic personal information about your customers, or other confidential information, unless we have an agreement in place that covers it.

Purchase information. When you buy a product, we receive order details such as your name, institution, email address, billing information, and what you purchased. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store full payment card or bank account numbers.

Marketing Compliance Check. When you sign up for the Marketing Compliance Check, we collect your name, email, and institution type, and we use a cookie to keep you signed in. When you run a check, we process the marketing copy and files you submit to produce your results. We don’t keep submitted copy or files after your results are shown. We keep a record of each check, such as its date, the settings you chose, and the number of issues found.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, download files, or interact with our emails, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the referring website, and the date and time of your activity.

Information from other sources. We may obtain business contact information, such as name, job title, employer, and work email address, from public sources and from business information providers.

  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business; and
  • with your consent or at your direction.
